Hollywood actor Johnny Depp revealed during an interview with ABS-CBN’s Balitang Amerika that he really loved Manila. The 51-year-old Johnny Depp who was part with the movie “Platoon” in 1986 spent some months in the Philippines and often visited the city of Manila during that time.”
According to Johnny Depp, he was in the Philippines and spent about three-and-a-half months living in the jungle and for two weeks they traveled to Manila during the weekends or if they have the chance to visit the place.
In remembering his pleasant stay in the Philippines particularly in Manila, he was quoted as saying “We’d coast down to Manila every weekend or every chance we got.” he said.
Johnny Depp described the experience in Manila like being in a Hemingway book. “Oh, Manila was beautiful, I love Manila. That was a great, great, great time.” Johnny Depp revealed to the media.
Right now Johnny Depp is busy promoting his comedy-action film “Mortdecai,” which also featured Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan Macgregor and Paul Bettany. Aside from being the main character of the movie, Johnny Depp is also the movie’s producer.
