Kapamilya young actress Julia Montes denied that she is pregnant. The issue started when she was not seen in several functions and gatherings in the past months and she has not been updating her personal Instagram account lately.
In a press conference for her upcoming movie “Halik Sa Hangin,” the former “Goin Bulilit” star denied also that she went abroad to hide her pregnancy, saying that she is in Baguio City to shoot for the movie.
“Oo nga, nagsu-shooting… Sana nga po ay nakaalis ako ng bansa, pero hindi nga ako nakaalis ng bansa. And, of course, lagi kaming nagsu-shooting, almost every day in a week. So, lagi kaming magkakasama. Wala pa ngang boyfriend, e. Paano kaya?” she said.
Julia Montes admitted that it was not the first time she was rumored to be pregnant since in her younger years, she was speculated also to be pregnant. She added that she just laughed on the issues.
The 19-year-old actress also said that she doesn’t want to have a boyfriend now for she wants to focus on her career and on the opportunities opening to her.
“Siguro, work lang muna talaga. Kasi, kilala ko ang sarili ko. Ako kasi, ‘pag focused ako sa work, focus muna ako. At ayokong mag-focus sa love kasi ang daming oportunities. At bibihira naman mabigyan ng ganitong opportunities ang iba,” he said.
Meanwhile, Julia Montes is now busy promoting her film “Halik Sa Hangin” which also stars Gerald Anderson and JC de Vera. Directed by Emmanuel Quindo Palo, the film will be released on January 28, 2015.
