San Miguel Beer learned their lesson against the Alaska Aces but it took 3 games and two losses before they realized their failures in protecting their lead. During the Game Four of the PBA All Filipino Cup Finals, San Miguel defeated the Aces with the final score at 88-70 and tied the best-of-seven series into 2-2 win-loss record.
The Game Four of the PBA All Filipino Cup finals was held at the historic Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. During the Game four of the PBA finals, the Beermen took a 17-point 33-16 lead at the end of the first half and later notched their biggest advantage at 29 points in the third period and put Alaska down for good for the rest of the game.
Veteran point guard Alex Cabagnot started for the first time in the best-of-seven finals series and led the Beermen with an amazing 22 points performance on 4-of-10 three pointers.
The best-of-seven series is now down to just best-of-three series after both teams won twice. The pivotal Game 5 of the PBA All Filipino Cup finals will be held this coming Friday at the Big Dome or the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.
