“Home Sweetie Home” Casts Went To Japan (Photos)

The casts of the hit sitcom “Home Sweetie Home” starring the Multimedia star Toni Gonzaga and and box-office actor John Lloyd Cruz went to Japan to mark the first anniversary of the show.

The show, which debuted in January 5, 2014, follows the story of the lead characters Julie (Toni Gonzaga) and Romeo (John Lloyd Cruz)  and their travails as a newly wed couple.

Among of the casts who went to Japan were Miles Ocampo, Clarence Delgado, Rico J. Puno, Sandy Andolong.  They also shot some scenes for the episode on the sitcom series.

“Home Sweetie Home” is the reunion project of Toni Gonzaga and John Lloyd Cruz after they top-billed the box-office romantic-comedy movie in “My Amnesia Girl” in 2010.

Recently, it was named as the Best Comedy Show of Philippine Movie Press Club at this year’s PMPC Star Awards for TV. It was also included in the top 20 list of most-watched Tv shows in the country garnering an average nationwide rating of 21.5%.

“Home Sweetie Home,” which also stars Diana Zubiri, Philip Salvador, Jayson Gainza, Mitoy Vonting, Ogie Diaz and Jon Lucas, is directed by director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz. It airs every Saturdays and Sundays as part of the ABS-CBN Yes! wWeekend line-up.
