Kapamilya actor and heartthrob Piolo Pascual said that he wants his son, showbiz newcomer Iñigo Pascual to be better than him. He also admitted that he doesn’t want him to venture into showbiz while he is still studying.
In an interview on radio dzMM, the former “Hawak Kamay” star admitted that Iñigo Pascual is better than him when it comes to music. He also welcomes the people’s opinion that Iñigo is a better version of him to avoid comparisons.
Piolo Pascual also shared that as a father, he makes sure to have a good communication with his son to develop trust with each other. “Trust is very important because kung wala kang tiwala hindi ka magoopen up. You don’t open up to your parents if you don’t trust your parents,” he said.
Iñigo Pascual started his showbiz career after appearing on a TV Commercial with Piolo Pascual. After it, he was offered to do some film and television projects.
His movie debut was “Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig” with Sophia Andres, Ericka Villongco and Julian Estrada. It was directed by Irene Villamor & Antoinette Jadaone and was released in November.
Iñigo Pascual starred also in the episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” last month with teen actress Julia Barretto, his love team on the upcoming film “Para Sa Hopeless Romantic” with James Reid and Nadine Lustre. Further details about the movie was not yet announced by the production.
