Team Apl’s singing contest veteran Abbey Pineda and internet sensation Alisah Bonaobra performed the hit song “Unconditionally,” which was originally popularized by Katy Perry, on “The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 Battle Rounds” on Sunday December 21, 2014.

Abbey Pineda and Alisah Bonaobra was the last pair to perform before the battle rounds ended. The singers gave a last one epic match but according to the four coaches Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Apl.de.ap and Bamboo Manalac, Alisah shone more.
The Broadway singer Lea Salonga was quoted saying as : “This is a difficult one to call because you’re both excellent. But the voice that really cut through para sa akin ngayon ay si Alisah.”
At the end, Alisah Bonaobra secured a seat at the Knock Out rounds after she was chosen by Apl.de.ap. However, Abbey Pineda will be moving also to the next round after Lea Salonga used her last power to steal her.
Before the Battle Rounds, Alisah Bonaobra and Abbey Pineda had a little misunderstanding on performing the song. But apl.de.ap intervened before the dispute goes further and they later on patched up things.
