In the audio clip, which went viral online in September, Daniel Padilla was heard talking about a girl, who seemed to excite him after receiving a text message. Although he did not identify the girl, it triggered speculations about his relationship with Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

Daniel Padilla, who worked with Jasmine Curtis-Smith in the upcoming film “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo,” has since admitted that it was his voice on the clip. The “Dementia” actress admitted also that they are exchanging messages, but clarified that they don’t have romantic ties.

In a live interview with “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Wednesday December 4, 2014, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, who is currently in a relationship with Sam Concepcion, admitted that she approached the people who were involved in the scandal, including Kathryn Bernardo, who recently said that she was affected.

“Siyempre po noong una, nahirapan ako, but I had the advice of the right people. I had the right people around me. Ang maganda, hindi ako nahirapan i-approach ‘yung mga taong kasama doon sa isyu na ‘yon,” she said.

The 20-year-old Jasmine Curtis-Smith also added that she make sure that she has reached out to all people, whose names were involved in the controversy, to patch up the issue.

Meanwhile, Jasmine Curtis-Smith’s movie with Daniel Padilla, “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo” starring Robin Padilla, will be released on December 25, 2014, as part of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry.
