The kapamilya actress Beauty Gonzalez said that she was very overwhelmed by the success of the newest ABS-CBN primetime series “Dream Dad,” top-billed by hunk actor Zanjoe Marudo and child star Jana Agoncillo.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the former “Pinoy Big Borther: Teen Edition” housemate said that she was very happy with the ratings of the series. “Masayang masaya. Thank you sa lahat ng nanonood ng Dream Dad. Nakakatuwa po ang ratings namin ngayon. Thank you sa pagtanggap sa amin. It’s overwhelming,” she said.
“Dream Dad” premiered last November 24, 2014 and was immediately included to the list of Top 15 most watched shows in the Philippines. According to Kantar Media, it garnered a nationwide rating of 30. 1%, making it as the most watched program in the country in November.
Beauty Gonzalez said that she did not expect the success of “Dream Dad” shortly after it debuted, adding that she is also glad that the viewers like her role. The 23-year-old actress added that she is happy that she got her role in the top-rating series since she have been dreaming of having a big break in the showbiz industry.
Beauty Gonzalez also shared that she considers her new non-showbiz boyfriend as her “lucky charm” since a lot of good things happened to her career when he came in her life.
“Dream Dad,” which also stars Maxene Magalona, Gloria Diaz, Katya Santos, Ketchup Eusebio and Yen Santos, is directed by Jeffrey Jeturian. It airs from Monday to Friday after “TV Patrol,” replacing “Hawk Kamay.”
