The official album of the highly anticipated Pope Francis visit to the Philippines was release by Star Music, titled “We Are All God’s Children.” The album features the official theme song with the same title, which was also approved by the Vatican City. The song “We Are All God’s Children” was written and sung by multi-awarded Inspirational Diva Jamie Rivera.

“We Are All God’s Children” is the official theme song of the Pope Francis visit in the Philippines this coming January 2015, the song was written and performed by Jamie Rivera, with music by Noel Espenida.
According to Jamie Rivera, the song was inspired by the humility of Pope Francis himself, the leader of the billion-strong Roman Catholic. The song echoes the theme of mercy and compassion and calls all God’s children to show love and reach out to the needy.
Jamie Rivera was quoted as saying “Echoing the theme of mercy and compassion, the song calls all God’s children to show love and reach out to the needy. We should help the poor with joy and humility,” she said.
The singer was best known for her performance during the 1995 World Youth Day held in Manila with the former and now Saint John Paul II, visiting the country. The official theme song for the 2015 papal visit will have its own actions and hand gestures choreographed by Landa Juan.
Aside from the official theme song of Pope Francis visit, Jamie Rivera also performed the three tracks in the album, namely “Our Dearest Pope,” “The Mission,” and “Papa Francisco, Mabuhay Ka.”
Aside from Jamie Rivera, other notable Filipino artists also shared their talents for the Papal Visit album, they are Jed Madela and Angeline Quinto (On Eagle’s Wings), Liezel Garcia (Anima Christi), Janella Salvador (Give Thanks), Fatima Soriano (Lift Up Your Hands), Aiza Seguerra (Lead Me Lord), Erik Santos (Lord, I Offer My Life To You), Juris and Robert Seña (One More Gift) and Morissette Amon (Take and Receive).
