Kapamilya actress Andi Eigenmann explains her reason why she turned down the former “Pinoy Big Brother” winner Bret Jackson, who have been vocal of expressing his admiration to her.
In a press conference for her upcoming movie “Your Place Or Mine?,” which also star Bret Jackson, the former “Galema” star clarified that she and the Filipino-American remain friends despite what happened.
“I know na yung dating isyu lumabas, pero the thing is we’re still friends. Hindi lang ‘yung lumalabas sa news ‘yun lang ang nangyayari sa amin. Siyempre, behind it, alam niyo ‘yun, nag-uusap pa rin kami,” she said.
The 24-year-old star also admitted that she is not yet ready to be in a relationship at the time, following her break up with long-time boyfriend Jake Ejercito, the son of former President and now Manila City Mayor Joseph Estrada.
“At that time, yes, of course, marami akong pinagdadaanan sa buhay ko nun, relationship-wise or not. Ayoko nang nagmamadali. I don’t want to jump into something that I know I’m not ready for,” she added.
Bret Jackson confirmed that he is courting Andi Eigenmann in September, few days after the young actress confirmed her break up with Jake Ejercito. The alleged kissing photo of Jake with an unidentified girl reportedly triggered their split.
Meanwhile, their upcoming movie “Your Place Or Mine?,” which is based from a Wattpad novel, will mark the first team up of Andi Eigenmann and Bret Jackson. Viva Films has yet to announce further details about the movie.
