Lauren Young, a kapuso actress and younger sister of Miss World 2013 title holder Megan Young, revealed that she has a non-showbiz boyfriend, but she refused to reveal his identity.
In an interview with Pep.ph during her birthday celebration on Thursday November 27, 2014, the “Overtime” actress said that she and her boyfriend became a couple just recently.
“Bago lang, non-showbiz!” she said laughing. “We’re friends here in Manila, and we are also both from Subic and we both go to La Salle, so it’s very convenient.”
When asked to describe her boyfriend, Lauren Young said, “He’s a very smart guy, and he’s not a boy, he’s a man. So, he’s very mature, he knows what he wants in life and he really… Ako kasi, my world is very different from his, you know, showbiz. He really brings me down and wala… and parang ano lang, he just makes me very happy,” she said.
Although she did not reveal his name, she was reportedly dating theDLSU Men’s Volleyball captain ball Philip Cerveza, whom she posted on her personal Instagram account earlier this year.
The 21-year-old star was romantically linked before with the kapuso actor and rapper Elmo Magalona, who is now in a relationship with Janine Gutierrez, but the two never confirmed their relationship. However, the two were vocal on saying that they are special for each other.
Now that they are in a relationship with their respective partners, Lauren Young said that they are no longer part of each other’s lives. She also said in her past interviews that she tries to keep her distance with him.
