The kapuso singer and actress Rita De Guzman denied that she and her GMA c0-star Julie Ann San Jose had a rift. This was after she said that she will not be watching the concert of the singer.
The GMA stars were both finalists of the singing competition “Popstar Kids” where Rita De Guzman was named as the winner, while Julie Ann San Jose was the first-runner up. The two were also members of the all-girl group “Sugarpop,” performing in the defunct variety show “SOP”.
They were rumored to have a rift since Julie Ann San Jose was the first one to hold a major concert than Rita De Guzman. The concert, dubbed as “Hologram: The Concert” will take place on December 13, 2014 at the SM Mall Of Asia Arena.
Rita De Guzman said also in her past interviews that he will not watch the concert although she knew that the former “Popstar Kids” contestant will be attending the concert.
In an interview with entertainment portal Pep, the former “Villa Quintana” star said that she will not watch the concert because she is busy on her school and shooting for the primetime series “Strawberry Lane.”
The 19-year-old star also said that she is happy for Julie Ann San Jose because having a concert is the biggest dream of a singer, noting that not all singers can achieve that success.
“Siyempre, I’m happy for her. Sa lahat ng singer, isa ‘yan sa pinaka-biggest dreams. At saka hindi lahat, alam mo yun, na naa-achieve yung ganyan. Kaya bongga for her,” she said.
