The 7-year-old video of the “The Voice Philippines Season 2” contestant Jason Dy has become viral online after his blind auditions was aired on November 9, 2014.

The three-minute video, which was uploaded to YouTube in 2007, features Jason Dy singing John Legend’s “Ordinary People.” It was now viewed for more than 17o thousand times.
In the description of the video, the 24-year-old veteran singer wrote that the song is one of his personal favorites and it was the first video he uploaded to the video-sharing site.
During the blind auditions last week, Jason Dy sung Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” and has made three coaches turned their chairs for him, including Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo and apl.de.ap. Only Bamboo Manalac did not turn for him.
Jason Dy choose to join the team of Popstar Princess Sarah Geroninom, who was quoted saying, “Sobra kaming bilib na bilib sa’yo, kasi hindi mo kinailangang lakasan ‘yung boses mo, o bumirit para sa amin. ‘Yung strength mo, para sa akin, is ‘yung falsetto mo, ang linis linis, na ang sarap sarap sa puso naming pakinggan.”
The Butuan-native worked in a company that offer serenading services. Before Jason Dy made her mark in the popular singing competition, he first worked in Singapore and perform in bars, at the time.
