The kapuso-turned-kapamilya young actor Marlo Mortel admitted that he has a crush on her “Be Careful With My Heart” co-star, teen actress and singer Janella Salvador.
In an interview with the morning show “Kris TV” aired on Tuesday, Marlo Mortel said that he really admires the daughter of veteran singers Juan Miguel Salvador and Jenine Desiderio.
“Friends (kami) pero ako, gusto ko siya. ‘Yun nga lang ‘hindi pwede kay nanay, hindi pwede kay tatay,'” he said while quoting the lines from Janella Salvador’s P-pop song entry “Mahal Kita Pero.”
The 21-year-old actor said he is willing to wait for Janella Salvador because he thinks she is worth it. “Siyempre hindi ba kung worth it naman ‘yung hihintayin mo, bakit hindi?,” he said.
Marlo Mortel said in his previous interviews that he does not want to rush things between him and the Star Magic artist since they are still young.
Meanwhile, their top-rating daytime series “Be Careful With My Heart,” headlined by Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap will finally come to an end on November 28 after two years of airing.
After the series, Marlo Mortel and Janella Salvador is set to work again in the upcoming ABS-CBN project with working title “O.M.G” with “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” former housemate Manolo Pedrosa.
“O.M.G” will mark the third project of Janella Salvador with Marlo Mortel after “Be Careful With My Heart” and “Maalaa Mo Kaya’s” episode “Card.”
