The father of three, Bradley Holmes, made it to the popular singing competition “The Voice Of The Philippines” after he sang “Long Train Running,” which was originally performed by “The Doobie Brothers” on November 2, 2014 episode of the show.

Bradley Holmes said he joined the contest for his family, admitting that he used to use illegal substance and battled drinking problems, but he voluntarily sent himself to a rehabilitation facility.
One the Sunday’s episode, three of the four show’s coaches turned their chair for the rocker dad, including Lea Salonga, apl.de.ap and Sarah Geronimo. It was only Bamboo Manalac who didn’t turned for him.
Bradley Holmes chose the international singer apl.de.ap, saying that he wanted to explore more of his talent in singing, especially that he and apl.de.ap have the same genres in music.
apl.de.ap was quoted saying, “First of all, I’m proud of you for cleaning yourself up, picking yourself up, turning yourself around, and you found yourself a new, performing, and you are a natural. Ang lakas ng boses mo, nakakatindig ng balahibo. I really would like to help you out. I think you have an international voice that needs to be heard.”
Bradley Holmes will join the singing police officer Jannet Cadayona and Marc Conda of Team Apl. Watch “The Voice Of The Philippines” every Saturday and Sunday on ABS-CBN.
