The former kapamilya actress Jolina Magdangal has returned to her home network ABS-CBN, after more than a decade she transferred to rival network GMA. She is set to reunite with her former on-screen partner Marvin Agustin in the upcoming drama series “Floredeliza.”
On Monday October 27, Jolina Magdangal started to shoot “Flordeliza,” which is under the direction of the box-office director Wenn V. Deramas, who also directed their last film together with ABS-CBN in 2002, “Kung Ikaw Ay Isang Panaginip.”
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the 35-year-old actress did not give further details about the drama serries but she noted that her role is different from what she has portrayed before.
“Lahat nung mga ‘di ko nagagawa dati, parang ipagagawa sa akin ni direk dito, eh! First time ko talaga siya gagawin. Hinanda ko talaga sarili ko. Nakailang beses ako ng basa ng script!” she said in jest.
Jolina Magdangal also said that she accepted the role because it’s new, adding that she excited on what she will showcase to the viewers. “Kaya ako na-e-excite sa project na ‘to kasi alam ko na iba ‘yung mapapakita ko sa mga tao sa huli nila akong makita dito sa Kapamilya network,” she said.
Marvin Agustin, who also returned to ABS-CBN recently, earlier revealed that he will have a project with the network. However, he did not confirm if the actress has agreed to be his leading lady.
Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin was launched as a love team through the teen-oriented show “Gimik” in 1996.
