The only non-Korean group in South Korean competition, MICA, the Pinay singing group ended their journey in the MNET’s Superstar K6 competition. Sisters Mylene, Irene, Celina and Almira, known in the show as MICA, failed to move on to the next round of the competition. MICA was best known in the Philippines as the Gollayan Sisters.

During their last week on the show, the theme for the week was called “Seo Taiji Mission,” where each contestant was tasked to select a song and perform their own rendition of the Korean pop singer’s music.
The Pinay Group, MICA, performed the song “I Know,” but despite their energetic performance the group failed to advance to the next round of the competition. Aside from MICA, another contestant, Lee Jun Hee, was also eliminated from the show.
According to the Filipina group, the only non-Korean contestants in the competition, they entered the singing contest to help their family. They started singing while they were still young and they made headlines when they showcased their singing skills on It’s Showtime’s Bida Kapamilya contest during the year 2012.
In Korea they used the first letters of their first names and formed the group MICA, during the start of the competition they impressed the judges with their own rendition of Frozen theme song “Let It Go.”
The group was previously eliminated from the show in September 2014 but they got their second chance after being selected as wild card and winning the rival mission.
