The Philippine Basketball Association showcased the most celebrated opening ceremony in the league’s history spanning a total of 40 years of existence. Each PBA team paraded their respective muses in the most attended basketball even in the country featuring more than 50,000 fans witnessing live the opening games of the PBA held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Sunday, October 19, 2014.

According to the official record of the PBA, the league opened with a record-breaking 52,612 fans trooped to the world’s largest indoor gym in Bulacan, the Philippine Arena for the opening of the 40th season of Asia’s oldest pay-for-play basketball league.
Before the grand opening of the 2014-2015 Season of the PBA, the league paraded on the court some of the most beautiful muses in the country, as they stole the show on Sunday.
Two of the country’s most prominent actress during the early 90’s Sunshine Cruz and Alice Dixon showcased how young they were during the opening ceremony as they represent as muses with their respective teams.
Volleyball stars and beauty queens also graced the event as muses with Miss World 2013 Megan Young leading the group of beauty pageant contestants and winners. Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa represent as muse of the multi-titled PBA team, the Purefoods Hotshots, formerly known as the San Mig Coffee Mixers.
