During the recent interview, Charice Pempengco was asked by Oprah Winfrey why she wants to to talk now. The 22-year-old star said she wants to share her story and struggles when she came out with new identity last year.

“I just want to share my story to the people out there who are having a situation like mine. When I came out, everything started. All the struggles happened when I came out,” she said.

According to the 22-year-old singer, she will just dress up like a man but she has no plans of undergoing a surgery to change his physical features.

Charice Pempengco also admitted that she was afraid of revealing her true identity. But she was ready to lose everything even her career so she can finally say who she really is in public.

“That night when I was thinking of coming out, I was ready to lose my career, lose my fans. I was confident that I won’t lose my family because I knew that eventually they will understand me,” she said.

However, her coming out did not sit well to her mother Raquel who is vocal on saying that she disapproves her relationship with singer Alyssa Quijano. But Charice Pempengco has already reconciled with her mom last month.

Charice Pempengco, who became emotional, told Oprah Winfrey that she is happy that she has already patched up things with her mother.
