The “Miss Saigon” star Rachelle Ann Go will extend her stay in London to focus on theater. She went back in the country on Monday October 13, and she will fly again to London this Friday.

In a press conference, the “Search for a Star” winner said that she is enjoying theater and she wanted to focus on that industry for a while, noting that she has already done a lot in the Philippine showbiz industry.
“I enjoy doing theater eh sampung taon ako sa industriya [ngshowbiz] at na-enjoy ko yung ginagawa ko – pop music, TV and after that nakita ko yung sarili ko na ibang-iba ako, ibang Rachelle yung nagawa ko sa theater na Little Mermaid, Tarzan, iba yung joy na nakukuha ko,” she said.
According to Rachelle Ann Go, her contract in “Miss Saigon” will end in May next year and she is still deciding if she will extend. The 28-year-old singer plays the role “Gigi” in the West End revival of the musical production.
While stressing that she will definitely stay in London for theater, Rachelle Ann Go said that “Miss Saigon” has opened a lot of opportunities for her including a concert.
“Kasi for me, yun na yung opportunity eh parang nagbukas na yung pintuan don eh, ang daming dumadating, recording tapos concert na hindi ko in-expect na sobrang nakaka-amaze ang lahat nangyayari,” she said.
Rachelle Ann Go started performing in London for “Miss Saigon” in May this year.
