NU Bulldogs Defeated FEU in Game 3 Captured UAAP Title (Highlights Video)

The National University (NU) Bulldogs defeated the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws during the Game 3 of the UAAP Men’s basketball finals held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 with the final score at 75-59.

The victory of the NU Bulldogs is their second championship title in the history of the UAAP, the last time that the Bulldogs won the championship was way back the year 1954 or exactly 60 years from now.

The NU Bulldogs ended a long 60-year-drought in the men’s basketball competition of the UAAP as they posted a back-to-back win against the FEU Tamaraws.

The FEU Tamaraws started the best-of-three championship series in a winning note with their impressive victory during the Game 1 wherein they scored 75 points compared to NU’s 70 markers.

The NU Bulldogs bounced back and won the Game 2 of the Finals by scoring a victory at 62-47 and followed their victory with another win today ending their title-drought.
