The highly anticipated movie “T’yanak” which features veteran drama actress Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo will open a few days before the Halloween. The movie’s trailer video was already released online during the past few days. The theatrical trailer of the horror movie has already garnered thousands of views after it was posted online.

The horror movie featuring Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo was directed by veteran director Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes. The movie “T’yanak,” tells the story of of Julie portrayed by Juday, who wants to have a baby after suffering three miscarriages.
During the time when she was looking for a baby, she finds a baby boy, who is believed to be a t’yanak. The movie also features Tom Rodriguez, Sid Lucero and Solenn Heussaff, the horror film is a reboot of the 1988 classic film.
The original movie Tiyanak starred Janice de Belen, tells about the story of a childless woman who took care of an abandoned baby that turned out to be a demon in disguise.
The movie won the 1988 Gawad Urian Award for Best Sound and considered as one of the most popular movie during that time. In the 2014 version of the movie, the film will showcase a quiet town called Puting Bato, the place which was terrorized by savage murders.
The primary suspect is the foundling baby who is under the care of Julie, the character portrayed by Judy An Santos-Agoncillo. The brother of Julie, Mark portrayed by Tom Rodriguez and his fiancee Madie (played by Soleen Heussaff) became the target of the T’yanak.
“T’yanak” will open in theaters nationwide this coming October 29, 2014, a fewdays before the Holloween weekend.
