The National University (NU) Bulldogs defeated the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws during the Game 2 of the UAAP Men’s Basketball Finals with the final score at 62-47 and extend the Best-of-Three Championship series into Game 3.

Veteran NU Bulldogs Troy Rosario made an outstanding performance with his huge double-double efforts grabbing 14 rebounds and scoring 19 points. He was well supported by Gelo Alolino who came up again huge during the crunch time.
During the NU vs. FEU Game 2 match up, the UAAP recorded one of the most well-attended game as the Smart Araneta Coliseum announced that a total of 24,896 attended the Game 2 of the UAAP Men’s Basketball Finals.
The victory of the NU Bulldogs allowed the to tie the best-of-three series at one game apiece and force do-or-die game for the UAAP men’s basketball title which will be held this coming Wednesday, October 15, 2014.
The FEU Tamaraws trimmed the Bulldogs lead to just six points in the final period as they begun they fourth quarter rally. FEU’s Mike Tolomia drained a jump shot at 2:46 left in the fourth and the score was at 44-50.
