Controversial model, Alyzza Agustin has apologized not only to the public but also to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Director for Plans Chief Superintendent Alexander Ignacio after her post recognizing the police officer’s involvement on her case, regarding the traffic violation.
Alyzza Agustin issued his official statement on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 through her Facebook page, which had over 79,000 follower so far. Although the post was deactivated an hour after posting the message, most netizens made a screen capture of her statement.
The 23-year-old Alyzza Agustin posted the following message on Facebook:
“I would like to apologize to everyone who was affected and offended by my post, fellow motorists, Director (sic) Alexander C. Ignacio and his family and the PNP Institution as a whole,” Agustin said. “I was just overwhelmed by that moment because I was caught in traffic for hours coming from work.”
The controversial model became the hottest trending topics on Facebook after her post noting that she was let go by traffic enforcers despite violating the number-coding scheme after she showed Director Alexander Ignacio’s alleged business card.
Alyzza Agustin on her apology to the public, she clarified that she does not personally know Ignacio. She was quoted as saying “I mean no harm to anyone and just like any Filipino motorist, would like a little convenience on the road. Naniniwala po ako ang bawat isa sa atin ay may pag kukulang din naman sa daan. Pasensya na po sa aking pagkakamali.”
Meanwhile on a separate news posted by ABS-CBN on Tuesday, the police officer denied having personal ties with the controversial model Alyzza Agustin and hinted further that the business card was fake.
