PBA Opening Day May Be Hosted By PH Arena

PH Arena also known as the Ciudad de Victoria of Iglesia ni Kristo may be hosting the opening day of PBA’s 40 season this October 19, 2014.

The PBA Commissioner Chito Salud is set to inspect it on Thursday, September 18, 2014. This is to determine if PH Arena will be fit to hold the opening ceremonies of PBA. This is based on the news posted in Philstar.

They will first secure if the place is best fit for the opening ceremony of PBA. If satisfied, they will conduct the said opening ceremony in PH Arena and will be holding two games afterwards.

“We’ll be ready with shuttle buses to bring the fans from Metro Manila to the Bocaue venue. If satisfied, we’ll hold two games there during the opening day,” Salud said. But still, there are set to decide yet.

If this one will push through, there would be shuttle buses to be able to bring the fans to the venue which are from Metro Manila. This will also be a double-header that will feature Blackwater and KIA Motors to play in the first game. After which, the second game will be for Barangay Ginebra and Talk n Text.

In addition, the PH Arena management assured that all the PBA stars can easily fill the venue. Indeed, this will be the first time for the PH Arena to be able to host sporting event if ever.

PH Arena actually have 50,000 people capacity. In which, fans and those who wants to game in the venue itself, they will all be accommodated.

If not satisfied, their second option will be the Araneta Coliseum.
