The famous rapper Gloc-9, whose real name is Aristotle Pollisco, wants to release his life documentary instead of an album this year. This was after he declined the offer of his record label Universal Records for his third album.

In an interview with Philstar, the award-winning rapper said that he prefers to do a new concept as a substitute after he turned down the album.

“Kasi kahit ‘yong ‘Mga Kuwento Ng Makata’ to ‘Liham at Lihim,’ malapit, e, malapit ‘yong release nila sa bawat isa from ‘Sirena’ to ‘Magda’, So sabi ko sa UR, baka mag-pass ako sa album. I told them, ‘if you want, mayro’n akong concept, kung gusto n’yo, i-release natin.'” he said.

According to Gloc-9, the life documentary dubbed as “Biyahe ng Pangarap” will narrate how he came to prominence and how he was noticed by several record labels. The documentary will also feature how the late “Master Rapper” Francis Magalana guided him in the showbiz industry.

When asked how he came to the idea of life documentary, Gloc-9 replied: “Lagi nila akong tinatanong if I can tell kung paano nangyari ‘yong… natahak ‘yong path na ‘to,” he said.

Gloc-9 is considered as one of the best Filipino rappers because of his fast-flowing vocal styles, and was one of the few artists who received an award for every album. He was also described by Francis Magalona as “a blacksmith of words and letters.”
