This is the said validation message of the Globe.

  • The validation message would come from 2652(–foul word(s) removed–)(–foul word(s) removed–)(–foul word(s) removed–) where the last 9 digits are the transaction number. Replying to the message is free of charge.

Those customers who fail to reply in the span of 5 minutes will receive this message: “We’re sorry, but your Share-A-Load/Promo transaction has been cancelled because the response time exceeded 5 minutes. Please try again. Thanks!”

According to the Globe Senior Vice-President for Corporate Communications who is Yoly Crisanto, “We want to continuously protect our customers against these scams. By putting in place this additional measure, we would help prevent our customers from unwittingly undertaking Share-A-Load transactions.”

The said text scam is done in which customers are unaware that the number 2 added before the 10 digit mobile number of the recepient actually means that they already did the Share-a-Load transaction. Perhaps, this said text confirmation can really be an assurance for those Globe users.

Perhaps, customers can report text scams on www.globe.com.ph/stopspam.
