The kapuso actor and nephew of Ultimate heartthrob Piolo Pascual, Benjamin Alves denied that he is exclusively dating with Binibining Pilipinas 2013 first runner-up Pia Wurtzbach during his interview with entertainment site PEP.
Although Benjamin Alves admitted that they go out on dates, he clarified that they are not yet officially dating. “We go out on dates. But I don’t think we’re dating officially. We’re not exclusive,” he said.
The “Dading” star was also made to explain why he and the beauty queen went together to Baguio from August 31 to September 2. The two posted several photos of them together on their respective Instagram accounts.
“We talked about it naman. Separate rooms and things like that. Very platonic. And I have friends over there. She likes Baguio. That’s like one of her favorite places. For some reason, we didn’t have taping, so [we] went as friends. I didn’t hide it. I even posted some photos on Instagram,” he said.
Although they are not yet exclusively dating, the 25-year-old actor is hoping that they will have more time to know each other well. He also said that his TV series “Dading” will soon end so he will have the chance to know someone.
Benjamin Alves previously dated Miss Universe 2012 First Runner-up Janine Tugonon. However, their blossoming romance ended when Janine moved to United States for good and pursue her dream on studying abroad.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Alves denied also the rumors linking him to his Kapuso co-stars Jennylyn Mercado and Rachell Ann Go.
