Filipino-American mixed martial artist Brandon Vera introduces on Facebook an ALS Ice Bucket inspired challenge, the “tabo” challenge.
The former Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) showed that instead of wasting water by participating on the Internet craze, taking a shower using a tabo somehow helps to save water.
“I have a new challenge: How about you take a shower and clean yourself using a five-gallon bucket of water and see how much you can save after,” he said.
According to him, at least 5 gallons of water will be saved doing this stint.
Brandon “The Truth” Vera is a mixed martial artist who is currently signed with ONE FC. He has formerly competed for the UFC and the World Extreme Cagefighting, where has been declared as the Heavyweight Grand Prix Champion last year.
Brandon Vera or Brandon Michael Vera in real life made his UFC debut in 2005 against fighter Fabiano Schemer whom he defeated via knockout.
Brandon Vera’s father is a Filipino while his biological mom is an Italian-American.
