International Sports Writers Wish Gilas Pilipinas to Advance in FIBA Round of 16

The Philippine national basketball team, Gilas Pilipinas got the attention of international sports writers as they wish the Philippines to advance to the Round of 16 of the FIBA World Cup. Although the Philippines was already eliminated in the competition, some writers even wished that the country could be given a wild card entry to the next round.
