Gabe Norwood’s Dunk Over Scola Tagged as Best Dunk in FIBA 2014 So Far (Video)

Although they were not able to claim victory for the third time in FIBA World Cup 2014, the Philippine National Basketball Team, Gilas Pilipinas got the attention of basketball fans worldwide featuring Gabe Norwood’s dunk tagged as “best dunk” so far.

Gilas Pilipinas forward Gabe Norwood continues to make rounds after showcasing an intense dunk during their match against Argentina. However, they have failed anew to win the game.

Gabe Norwood’s  dunk was even tagged by the National Basketball Association (NBA) as best dunk in FIBA World Cup 2014 so far. The biggest basketball league took to their official Twitter page to laud about his dunk.

The dunk of 29-year-old Filipino-American basketball player who plays for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) even took the No.1 spot in FBA World Cup 2014’s Top 5 plays for Day 3.

During their match against the No.3 basketball quad in the world, the Philippine  National Basketball Team showcase a new and improve game play. However, they failed to win the match. Their game ended into 4-point advantage in favor of Argentina.

Gilas Pilipinas is set to face Puerto Rico this coming September 3, 2014 and  Africa’s third runner-up Team Senegal. They need to win their upcoming match in order to advance to the next round of cup, the Round 16.
