One of the leading television network in the country, TV5, issued an official statement after Megastar Sharon Cuneta announced recently that she is no longer a part of Kapatid Network.

TV5 wishes to extend its gratitude to Ms. Sharon Cuneta for being part of the Kapatid Network for almost three years. The network wishes her well in all her future endeavors.

On Friday, August 29, 2014, the 48-year-old actress-singer took to her Facebook and Twitter accounts where she posted a photo stating that she is no longer part of the network.
“I am going to drop clues every now and then as to the things I will be working on which will start sooner than you think!” she wrote as an accompanying caption to the photo she shared.
“So keep watching out for those clues. Goodnight, everyone! Sweet dreams and May God bless you always!” the Megastar added.
The former Kapamilya star recently made rounds after she admitted in an open letter that she’s experiencing a “mid-life crisis.” She noted in her open-letter the problems and other frustrations she had including some circumstances about her weight.
The Manny V. Pangilinan-owned network where she signed a whooping P1-billion contract gave her a new stage of limelight. However, her career did not make a boom over her transfer there.
Sharon Cuneta appeared in just three programs in Kapatid Network which include her stint as host of her talk show,”Kasama Mo, Kapatid”,” The Mega and the Songwriter” along with singer-comedian Ogie Alcasid and her television series comeback, the “Madam Chairman” which was later cancelled by TV5.
