Kathryn Bernardo to Release Her First Studio Album

The country’s “Teen Queen” Kathryn Bernardo will be releasing her debut studio album, her first-ever in the music industry, as she expands her career in the entertainment industry in a project without Daniel Padilla. The confirmation of Kathryn Bernardo’s foray into the music industry was revealed on the sidelines of her endorsement deal on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old Kathryn Bernardo is the first celebrity endorser of Nails by Chic Centre, in an interview with some entertainment press, she noted that she already finished recording her album featuring a total of six songs and a number of bonus tracks last Friday.

Kathryn Bernardo also revealed that she is set to shoot the album cover this week, as arranged by her handler. According to Kathryn she found inspiration of venturing into the music industry from American pop stars Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

Aside from international inspirations on her singing career, Kathryn also idolizes local stars such as Sarah Geronimo and Yeng Constantino. Although this will be the first time that the actress ventures into the music industry, she already recorded a song before.

The song recorded by the Teen Queen, Kathryn Bernardo titled “Ikaw Na Nga Yata,” is already aired on various radio stations across the country. The song is also featured in the local airing of the Korean drama series “Pretty Man.”

Aside from Kathryn’s preparation on her musical career, she also revealed during the interview that she will top-bill a “Wansapanataym” miniseries, which will run for a month.
