Former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) grand winner and current Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu is standing by her decision to call out a “PBB” housemate for being “lazy,” as she stated in an interview with ABS-CBN that she was just being honest.
According to the 24-year-old Kim Chiu, who just renewed her contract with ABS-CBN on Thursday, August 14, 2014, noted that she initially wanted to delete the controversial tweet, which became one of the hottest topic on social media during the time it was posted.
The grand winner of PBB’s Teen Edition in 2006 noted that she just voiced her own opinion. She was quoted as saying “We live in a democratic country. We have the freedom of speech, isa ‘yon sa mga fundamental rights ng mga Filipino. Opinion naman ‘yon ng isang tao and sana ay huwag nilang mamasamain,” said Kim Chiu.
While Kim Chiu stressed that she’s not sorry for voicing out her own opinion, she nonetheless wants to apologize to the PBB fans who felt offended by her remark.
When the “Ikaw Lamang” actress was asked if who she thinks should win this season, the PBB All In, she just answered that both celebrity Daniel Matsunaga and Davao teen Maris Racal are deserving of the title. According to Kim Chiu, both Daniel and Maris have already proven their worth inside the PBB house.
