The actress-singer Aiza Seguerra and her fiance former beauty queen Liza Diño revealed during their interview with GMA News that they plan to undergo artificial insemination to have a baby next year.
“Hopefully next year. Ang plano is insemination pero instead of me [ang magdadala], sa akin i-inseminate, we’ll use my egg, and she [Liza] will carry,” the “Be Careful with My heart” star said.
Liza Diño said that they are now considering who will be the sperm donor, either a friend or someone they didn’t knew, since it has disadvantages and advantages.
“We’re still thinking kung magiging kaibigan ba siya o unknown yung donor. Kasi may mga pros and cons din ‘yon,” she added.
Artificial insemination is the process in which a semen is introduced to a woman’s reproductive organ to achieve a successful pregnancy.
On February, the couple announced that they are considering the process of in vitro fertilization. However, their plans have changed.
Before they will undergo artificial insemination, the pair said that they plan to get married first this year in United States since their marriage is not legal in the Philippines.
Aiza Seguerra and Liza Diño got engaged early on February this year. They first admitted their relationship to public last year in September 2014.
Liza Diño represented the Philippines in Miss International Pageant in 2011 and she is also an actress who appeared in several films and TV series, recently in “Mira Bella”. She was previously married to her husband of five years.
