Physical & Occupational Therapist Top Performing & Performance of Schools (Aug. 2014)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 the official results of the August 2014 Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist Board Exam. Aside from the official list of passers and topnotchers (Top 10 Passers), PRC also released the Top Performing and Performance of Schools in the recently concluded Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist Board Exam.

According to PRC a total of 511 out of 874 passed the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination and 93 out of 163 passed the Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination. The examination was conducted by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy, in the cities of Manila and Cebu.

Based upon the results released by PRC, only the University of Sto. Tomas made it to the list of Top Performing Schools in the August 2014 Physical Therapist Board Exam with an average of 91.74% or a total of 100 passers out of 109 examinees.

In the August 2014 Occupational Therapist Board Exam, the University of the Philippines-Manila and Velez College in Cebu City. The University of the Philippines in Manila led the Top Performing Schools with an average of 88.69% or a total of 16 passers out of 18 examinees while Velez College has a total of 12 passers out of 15 examinees for 80% passing rate.

The PRC also announced on Tuesday that the Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on August 14 & 15, 2014.
