Michael Johns, one of the finalists of American Idol Season 7 died. There is no immediate report regarding the cause of his death.
But based upon the report of leading US-based celebrity website Hollywood Reporter, the 35-year Australian-born singer died due to the blood clot that originated in his ankle.
However, the authorities have yet to identify the cause of his death. Michael Johns came to prominence after he placed Top eight on the hit singing competition and after his stint on American Idol, he then ventured into making songs for films and documentaries.
“Michael Johns was an incredible talent and we are deeply saddened by the news of his passing,” Fox Network and American Idol wrote in a Facebook post. “He was a part of our American Idol family and he will be truly missed.”
“Our family is devastated by the passing of our beloved Michael, a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle and friend,” the family said in a statement Saturday.
“We appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received from all corners of the globe. Please keep Michael in your thoughts and respect our need to grieve privately in this difficult time.”
Michael Johns has been tagged as “an incredible talent” by American Idol producers; Fremantle Media North America and 19 Entertainment.
Meanwhile, minutes after it has been reported that Michael Johns passed away, he was then flooded of thousands of messages of condolences online with some expressing their grievance over the death of the singer-composer.
