Friday nights heavy rain caused landslides in the province of Misamis Oriental.
There are already a total of 11 damaged house. This involves 10 partially damaged housed and 1 totally damaged house. This is specifically in Brgy. Hermano, Misamis Oriental. Other Barangay’s affected are Rosario, Blanco and Dumarait in Balingasag Misamis Oriental. However the total number of affected families are not yet determined.

There are also pictures posted in social media telling that Tagoloan River had a strong current after the heavy rain last night.
Some people are using the washed out wood into business. They are already selling it. Which is understood to be so dangerous. This is still a possibility that the water will get bigger.
There is also one house that had been washed out to the heavy rain in Balingasag.
While landslide happen in the town of upper Jasaaan.
After this happened, Balingasag’s MDRRM conducted a road operation and transferred those affected families to their relative residences. They were also being provided by food packs to have something to eat. More updates on the reports will later be shown and told to people few hours after.
May there be no people who got hurt in this natural calamity. Lets hope and pray for their safety.
