The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather bulletin of “Bagyong Henry” on their 11:00 AM updates. According to PAGASA, at around 10:00 AM of July 19, the center of Bagyong Henry was estimated based on all available data at 560 kilometer East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.
Bagyong Henry (international codename Matmo) is the eight typhoon to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility this year alone. The tropical storm is also the third typhoon to hit the country in the month of July.
The newest tropical typhoon that followed Bagyong Glenda, has a maximum sustained winds of 95 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 120 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 19 kph.
The tropical storm is expected to be at 470 km East of Virac, Catanduanes on Sunday morning (July 20) and at 410 km east of Tuguegarao, by Monday morning.
Tropical Storm “Henry” is expected to be at 470 km East of Virac, Cantanduanes by tomorrow morning (July 20) and at 410 km East of Tuguegarao Cagayan by Monday morning (July 21). By Tuesday morning (July 22), it is expected to be at 120 km East of Basco, Batanes.
