JM and JC Urquico will compete against Sam Shoaf and Darren Espanto in The Battle Round of The Voice Kids on Saturday, July 12, 2014. The winner of the Battle Round will represent their group in the Sing-Off Round which will be aired tomorrow, July 13. The aspiring singers performed the song popularized by One Direction, “What Makes You Beautiful.”
Before the start of the Battle Round, the “Pop Star Princess” Sarah Geronimo opened The Voice Kids Philippines with an amazing performance of the song “Neon Lights,” alongside her top 18 artists who will be competing for the Top 6 finalists who will moved on to the Sing-Off Round of the competition.

Results: Darren Espanto Wins the Battle Round
The eleven-year-old twins JM and JC Urquico competed against the nine-year-old Sam Shoaf, and the 12-year-old Darren Espanto. Coach Sarah Geronimo was the lone coach to turn her chair for the twins, who sang “When I Was Your Man” in the Blind Auditions. Both 2-chair turners, Sam and Darren performed “Treasure” and “Domino,” respectively.
After the Battle Round of the The Voice Kids Philippines, the top six artists will face the public votes in the live Sing-Offs of the competition which will be held at the World Resort Manila Hotel.
The top two finalists of Team Sarah will compete against the top two artists of Team Bamboo and Team Lea Salonga. During the last two weeks, Coach Bamboo Manalac picked Juan Karlos and Edray while Team Lea Salonga will be represented by Tonton and Darlene.
