The box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina has apologized to the readers of “She’s Dating the Gangtser”, a best-selling novel which has been turned into a movie starring the two of the popular teen stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.

During the press conference for the upcoming film, the 42-year-old director explained that they have to make changes for the movie version though they have to take some certain scenes or add some.
“Marami po kasing followers ng libro na medyo hindi amenable to change and to revisions. I did apologize that we had to do it. Kahit naman pong anong novel na in-adapt to a movie ay mayroong pagbabago na kailangan,” she said.
Cathy Garcia-Molina said that they asked for the permission of the book’s author Bianca Bernardo and to its publisher, the Summit Books to allow them make some changes for the film.
Bianca Bernadino, for her part, said that she understands that the production have to make some revisions from the popular book adding that she is happy in the outcome and to the scenes that were added to the film.
Cathy Garcia-Molina said also on her past interviews that that though the movie was been based from the book, it cannot be exactly as the original.
“She’s Dating the Gangster“, with the special participation of the popular love team of Dawn Zulueta and Richard Gomez, will hit the theaters nationwide on July 16, 2014 (#SevenOneFourOneSix).
