Bodie Cruz became the third millionaire winner of “The Singing Bee,” he is also considered as the biggest winner of the current season of the country’s top-rating karaoke singing competition. The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate won the competition on Tuesday, July 1, 2014.
The son of veteran actor Tirso Cruz III, Bodie Cruz, proved once and for all , that he is more knowledgeable of the song lyrics compared to the other competitor, former Miss Earth winner Karla Henry, Desiree del Valle, and Smokey Manaloto in the weekly battle.
All the daily winners of the week face off for the P1 million jackpot, with Bodie Cruz declared as the winner in the end of the competition bringing home with him a total of P1.04 million, also considered as the biggest prize ever given by the musical game show.
The last two winner of “The Singing Bee” were Sheryl Cruz and KZ Tandingan who won their P1 million cash prize last December 2013 and January 2014, respectively.
Aside from the announcement of the latest winners of “The Singing Bee” the show also announced that on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, they will feature contestants which includes singers Alex Castro, Bryan Termulo, Emmanuelle Vera, and Liezel Garcia who will compete for the jackpot.
On Thursday, the show will also feature Gail Nicolas, Jose Sarasola, Niña Jose, and Regine Angeles for the jackpot round of the top-rating singing competition.
