The Professional Regulation Commission announced on Friday, June 27, 2014 that a total of 11,225 out of 29,188 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in various designated testing centers nationwide last May 25 and 26, 2014. The Nursing Board Exam was released after working days after the last day of examination.

The May 2014 Nursing Licensure Examination was conducted in various testing centers nationwide which includes the cities of Baguio, Manila, Angeles, Laoag, Cabanatuan, Iloilo, Dagupan, Davao, Lucena, Tacloban, Pagadian, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Cagayan de Oro and the newly added testing center Bacolod City, in Negros Occidental.
According to the PRC there were 29,877 Nursing graduates who took the May 2014 Nursing Licensure Examination conducted by the Board of Nursing headed by Carmencita M. Abaquin.
During the last Nursing Board Exam or the NLE, the results was released December 2013 Nursing Board Exam, the results was released after 24 working days from the last day of examination. PRC announced last January that a total of 10,977 out of 35,475 examinees passed the Dec. 2013 Nursing Board Exam.
