The Kapamilya teen star Liza Soberano admitted that she had a crush on the actor-dancer and heartthrob Enrique Gil but she made it clear that she has no plans on being in a serious relationship yet.
In an interview with Pep.ph, the 16-year Filipino-American actress said that the “Mira Bella” leading man had a lot of good qualities so it would not be hard for people to like him. “He’s handsome. He’s nice. He’s talented. So, why not,” she said.
Liza Soberano clarified that she only had a crush on Enrique Gil but she does not see herself having a romantic relationship with him. Aside from her reason that she is not yet in the right age, she does not want also to lose her concentration in her career.
“Yung focus ko, hindi naman sa iniisip ng ibang tao. My focus is on my career and to get better in acting,” she stressed.
Meanwhile, Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano will star in the upcoming movie “The Bet” under the production of Star Cinema. This will be their second movie together following the romantic film “She’s the One”, top billed by Bea Alonzo and Dingdong Dantes.
The young star said that she is excited to work with the 22-year-old actor especially that she has previously worked with him. According to Liza Soberano, she enjoys working with Enrique Gil because of his jolly personality.
Liza Soberano is also grateful to Star Cinema management for giving her a lead role though she is a showbiz newbie.
