Hospital Detention Room For Senator Juan Ponce Enrile Revealed (Photos)

The hospital detention room prepared for Senator Juan Ponce Enrile which was unveiled by ABS-CBN on Wednesday June 25, 2014, is set according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).

To give further explanation regarding with the General Hospital inside the camp Crame prepared for Senator Juan Ponce Enrile, spokesperson of PNP Chief Supt. Reuben Theodore Sindac, said that a specific hospital room will be assigned for the 90-year-old Senator.

As Supt. Reuben Theodore Sindac told in ANC on Tuesday, he said “There will be a specific room that will be assigned, together with all the security requirements, including the forces that will be employed for that purpose.”

On the other hand, it isn’t sure yet whether Senator Juan Ponce Enrile who was charge with the whooping of P10-billion pork barrel scam will seek house or hospital arrest according to his lawyer Joseph Sagandoy Jr., emphasizing Enrile’s condition “He requires a medical attendant or companion practically 24 hours a day. Kailangan din regularly i-monitor ang kanyang blood pressure, sugar level at marami pang ibang examinations na kailangan gawin sa kanya any time of the day.”

However these random photos released by ABS-CBN will show you the possible condition of Senator Juan Ponce Enrile inside the two rooms of PNP General Hospital whenever he will be detained.

The first room measures 3 meters by 3 meters, with a toilet separated only by a divider.

It has no aircon and only one small window (with bars) providing ventilation.

The room is commonly used for detainees with medical needs.

The second room, a specialty ward, is where ailing PNP officials are confined.
