PBB All In housemate Vickie Rushton could not contain her emotion as she broke down in tears when her estranged father, Eric, made a surprise visit to her inside the PBB house. According to Vickie Rushton his father left her and her mother without permission when she was just in Grade Two.
The 21-year-old Vickie Rushton’s emotional reunion with her father, Eric, was shown during the Thursday, June 19, episode of Pinoy Big Brother All In. Aside from the visit of her father, Vickie also got another visitor, his boyfriend, the Kapamilya actor Jason Abalos, who handed her an a letter from her father.
The 18-page letter came from Vickie’s father, Eric, whom the Bacolod-based model had left unread for years. Vickie Rushton revealed earlier on PBB and recalled that she got angry with her father because he left without explanation.
According to Vickie when she was already in fourth year college, she received the letter from her father, explaining the reason why he and her mother got separated. Vickie admitted that she only ever read the first few pages and decided to keep it away until she is ready, because of her fear that her good memories with her family might be tarnished.
During Eric’s visit with daughter Vickie Rushton, the “Lady Mahinhin ng Bacolod” cried instantly but she did her best to keep completely still. The father of Vickie Rushton hugged and kissed his daughter several times, assuring his love for Vickie, despite the fact that he was absent in some of the most important parts of her life for the past few years.
In an interview with Vickie’s father, Eric, he confessed to Big Brother that he regrets leaving his daughter, but he also added that he is happy with the current status of Vickie, as she grew up as a beautiful and decent woman.
The separate visits of Jason Abalos and Eric Rushton inside the famous yellow house is part of the PBB All In housemate’s weekly task which is stay perfectly still at specified moments with only three chances for error throughout the week.
