The Philippines most popular singing competition, The Voice Kids Philippines got its biggest ratings so far, reaching a new milestone for their last week’s viewership ratings according to Kantar Media. The Voice Kids got 35.5% and 37.7% in national TV ratings last Saturday and Sunday’s episode.
The singing competition that premiered on May 24 secured its highest ratings so far, with its viewership last Sunday was its highest ever since the first episode of the Blind Audition.
The Voice Kids Philippines features aspiring kids singers aged eight to fourteen years old who are vying for a rare chance to be mentored by three of the country’s most popular singers and entertainers who served as coaches as well as judges of the show.
Based upon the previous ratings of The Voice Kids Philippines, the show got the highest ratings with 35.8% during the May 25, 2014 episode of the show. According to Kantar Media, the show’s audience share has consistently ranked it No. 1 on the list of the most watched programs on weekends, a trends that was observed since the start of The Voice Kids.
On overall monthly ratings last May 2014, the country’s most popular singing competition, The Voice Kids also topped the lsit of the overall highest-rating shows in the Philippines for the month, with an average nationwide ratings of 34.1%.
The coaches of The Voice Kids Philippines, coach Sarah Geronimo, coach Lea Salonga and coach Bamboo were so grateful with their fans for the continued support of the show from the very start and up to this moment on the final few episodes of the blind audition.
