Khen Lobaton performed the song popularized by Jay-Z titled “Empire State of Mind,” during the Sunday’s episode of The Voice Kids Philippines, the country’s top-rating weekend television shows since it started airing.

During the blind audition of Khen Lobaton, the three judges and mentors turned their chair around and tried their best to convince the aspiring young singer from Bacolod City to be with their teams.
The 13-year-old Khen Lobaton finally picked up Coach Sarah to be with her Team during the next days of the competition to be train by the Pop Star Princess. Before the final decision of picking Team Sarah, Khen Lobaton found it hard to decide because the three coaches used some tactics to convince her to be with their team.
Broadway singer Lea Salonga invited the ultimate winner of “The Voice of the Philippines,” Mitoy Yonting who helped Lea Salonga on convincing Khen Lobaton but he failed because the aspiring singer already noted that she wants Coach Sarah’s love team, John Lloyd Cruz.
By the end of the June 15, 2014 episode of The Voice Kids Philippines, Coach Lea Salonga gained Shanne Dandan, while Khen Lobaton and Kyle Bernido went to Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo Manalac got three new recruits namely Gem Capalad, Stacy Pineda and Allina Malaiba.
