Fely Irvine Survive “The Voice” Australia’s Showdown While Jhoana Aguila Was Eliminated

Fely Irvine, one of the two Filipino contestant in The Voice Australia 2014 survived during the showdown of Australia’s most popular singing competition. The other Filipino contestant, Jhoanna Aguila was eliminated during the showdown edition of The Voice last Monday, June 9, 2014.

The former member of “Hi-5,” Australia’s children’s singing group survived the showdown of the The Voice Australia. The Filipino-Scottish contestant made her own rendition of the song popularized by Blu Cantrell’s “Hit ‘Em Up Style.”

As a member of the popular “Hi-5” group, Fely Irvine, she was featured in various shows by Hi-5 from 2009-2011. She was able to complete a total of 3 series and 135 episodes of the famous group “Hi-5.” In Fely Irvine’s stint with The Voice Australia, she is under the team of celebrity Ricky Martin.

Meanwhile the other Filipino contestant of The Voice Australia, Jhoanna Aguila cut short her stint with The Voice as she was sent home during the showdown on Monday.

The Sydney-based Filipino performer Jhoana Aguila performed her version of Alicia Keys “Fallin”. Although she failed to make it to the “Sing Off” round of the competition, Jhoana Aguila thanks her fans through her official Facebook account for the support given to her during her stay with The Voice Australia.

The 24-year-old Jhoana Aguila added further that it is not the end for her because she believes that only bigger and better things are yet to come as she continue her journey as an aspiring singer.
