NBA Finals 2014: San Antonio Spurs Defeats Miami Heat 110-95 (Game 1)

The San Antonio Spurs has defeated defending champion Miami Heat in their first encounter with a total score of 110-95  in the Game 1 of NBA Finals 2014 held at the AT&T Center on Thursday night, June 5, 2014 (Friday in Philippines).

The San Antonio, Texas-based team dominated on their first collision introducing three-time MVP Tim Duncan who scored 21 points  and 10 rebounds defeating the powerhouse team of Miami, Florida-based players headed by Lebron James.

Lebron James who only played for 33 minutes after suffering from cramps finished the game 1 of NBA Finals 2014 with 25 points. Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh on the other hand scored 19 and 18 points respectively.

San Antonio Spurs (SAS) captured their first win after throwing consecutive three-point shots in the 4th quarter with 17-36 in favor for Spurs. Both teams will advance on the next game which will happen on Sunday, June 8, 2014 (Monday in PH).

San Antonio Spurs took advantage on the game with 15 points. On the first quarter, Spurs lead with 26-20, 29-28 in favor for Heat in the second quarter and 29-20 in favor for Miami Heat in 3rd quarter.
